Japanese green tea is effective also for the relieving of stress in daily life.

It is because a lot of vitamins C are contained in Japanese green tea. When the mind and body is stressed, internal organs called adrenal gland in the inside of the body makes a large amount of adrenal cortex hormone(steroid), increase blood glucose levels, and helps resistance for mind and body to develop. Vitamin C is necessary for synthesizing this adrenal cortex hormone. Therefore, the consumption of vitamin C rises in a stress situation. Vitamin C is readily available for adrenal gland in a stress situation by taking vitamin C usually a lot, so the body becomes strong to stress.

Moreover, there is an effect of untangling nerves and relaxing also in vitamin E. So Japanese tea ceremony is very effective in the relaxation, because vitamin E can be taken by drinking Matcha.

It is understood to relax because the teanin contained in tea acts on nerve cells in brain, too. It is elucidated teanin in green tea affects nerve cell in a brain that relax the feeling. The stress is decreased by these effects gotten by drinking green tea, and we can be relaxed.

Aside from drinking, you can get the effect for relaxing from smell. Because, an intense grassy-green odor of freshly cut green grass and leaves that is called leaf alcohol and leaf aldehyde are contained in the element of smell in green tea and they have the effect for relaxing.

A tea incense burner ( Cha Kouro ) is very useful for the relaxation to ensure aroma at home.

From the article in one of the famous social news site Digg, Japanese toilets are introduced as most remarkable high-tech toilet in the world. Many comments posted to this article agree with that, however some people don’t understand why Japanese are so enthusiastic to toilets.

I think that one of the reason is that Japanese people are thinking toilet space is not just for egesting wastes. Living in the society, even though privacy is protected, it is not as robust as toilet space. Maybe toilet is a perfect place to isolate from society instantly to refresh mentally and also physiologically to gain power to go back to society. If this is the truth, I can agree that Japanese people pour passion to make toilet comfortable as possible.

Japanese faith to toilets made up a word “Benjo Meshi” meaning “Toilet Meal”. This is a word poking fun at Japanese loving toilet space that they even take meal in the toilet. This word posted to Wikipedia once (it’s deleted now), but being a popular joke like this, toilets might going to be one of the religion believed more than Buddhism.

Although, it is true that Japan is the innovator of the toilets. More than cars, electorics, anime and manga, toilets will be one of the important exporting articles for Japanese economy. Do you believe or not?

I sometime spend time reading in the toilet at my home. I don’t know why but it is real that I can concentrate in reading. Maybe I do have potential being one of the believer of Toiletism

Have you heard of an item called Tea Incense Burner (Cha Kouro)?

Yesterday, I went to Odaiba. Odaiba is located in bay area of Tokyo, which is famous for dating spot. Ah, don’t ask whether I went there for dating. Odaiba is also a good place for shopping where there are many shops and good to find out cool stuffs.

In one of the shop in Odaiba, I found a good tea incense burner (in Japanese it is called “Cha Kouro”). I knew that there is such thing, but I’ve never tried it. So I purchased one for my home to have a try. Burner is very simple, it has a little tray to put the tea on and a little space underneath the tray to put a candle. The way it works is same as aroma oil burner, but the tray is little more larger and shallow.

I tried green tea for testing. After few minutes I placed the lit candle, soft and gentle but nice and spicy savor filled my room. This is really awesome! For 40 to 50 minutes, the aroma of the green tea will continue. When you feel the aroma getting weak, you can stir the tea on the tray by the tea spoon to make it stronger. Nice aroma will make you relax…

Tea Incense Burner (Cha Kouro)

You can either use tea leaves before extracting the tea or after extracting the tea. However if you want to recycle used tea leaves, you have to dry it before you use for incense. And of course, strongness of the aroma will be weaker than new tea leaves.

Being a Japanese tea lover, you need to have this item! Japanese tea is very versatile, you should not stop just drinking the tea. You can also use it as incense, you can also cook and eat, you can use it as odor remover, there are many usage. I will introduce other way of using Japanese tea in this blog.

So, would you like to have a Cha Kouro at your home? Do not worry, I decided to put this in Akiba Mart
