Back in the year 2000, Osaka was the candidate city for 2008 Summer Olympic Games, however as you know, Beijing won. Osaka is my birth place, so I was really dreaming that the Olympic Games being hold in Osaka.

Few day ago, IOC members visited Tokyo to evaluate the plan of Tokyo for Olympic Games. There is big difference between Osaka and Tokyo’s invitation activities. What is it? It is involvement of Japan government. Government was not supportive when Osaka planned to invite Olympic Games. I don’t know the reason, but it was somehow mortifying to me.

Now I work in Tokyo, I hope Tokyo to win the bid :)
